About Us

Will

Clinical Director 

Growing up on a sheep farm, I developed a love of the countryside
and animals from an early age. Whether it was helping with lambing, tending to the flock, or simply enjoying life outdoors, those early experiences shaped my decision to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. With an inquisitive nature and a passion for animals, becoming a veterinary surgeon always felt like the natural path.
I went on to study at the University of Nottingham, graduating in
2014. Alongside my studies, I stayed closely connected to country life, spending many enjoyable days beating on my local shoot. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the unique relationship that exists between our clients and their working dogs.

Now as Clinical Director, I bring the same passion and dedication to my work. I enjoy the variety that veterinary life offers and take pride in supporting clients and their animals.

Outside of work, I still make time for the occasional day’s shooting, though most of my free time is happily spent with my wife and our three young children. Together, we love exploring the countryside, renovating our home, and making the most of time with loved ones.

Non-Clinical Director 

As non-clinical director, bringing a wealth of experience from both the corporate and veterinary sectors. With a career largely centred around veterinary practice, I combine strategic insight with a hands-on understanding of what independent practices need to thrive.

Passionate about delivering services that work for the world I know so well, I take a straightforward and empathetic approach, ensuring The Gundog Clinic’s clients receive support tailored to their way of life.

Outside of work, I live in the heart of one of Leicestershire’s shooting estates. I enjoy beating, picking up, and the occasional day shooting, as well as trail hunting in winter and eventing in summer. To keep things even more lively, I also care for a small flock of Valais Blacknose sheep, who provide endless entertainment and delight.
